D'Allesandro's opened June 9, 2006 in the Elliotborough neighborhood of downtown Charleston. Ben and Nick D'Allesandro opened the restaurant to provide the neighbors with a high quality restaurant that is affordable on any budget. The brothers are residents of Elliotborough (Ben, 7 years and Nick, 1 ½ years) so they knew a good affordable place was needed. Pizza is the concept because it is the food Ben and Nick know best. With the help of their father's mechanical skills the brothers created a neighborhood pizza pub serving gourmet pizza and beer for the people of Charleston. The Pizza scene in Charleston was lacking creativity. D'Allesandro's mission is to produce creative gourmet pizza at affordable prices. We value our customers, our quality ingredients, and care for the food. |
